I Thirst ~ Tatiana Cameron

Make plans to see international award winning singer-songwriter and inspirational speaker Tatiana “Tajci” Cameron live in concert at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (8151 Chimneyrock Blvd., Cordova, TN 38018) on Friday, March 29 at 7pm. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. You are welcome to arrive at 5pm and join us for our Lenten Supper in the PLC ($10/adults, $6/children under 12, maximum $30/family). You won’t want to miss this meaningful evening of song and Lenten reflection!

Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday is March 6th.

Mass at St. Francis will be offered at 8:15am, 9:30am, 12:00pm, and 7:00pm.

Ministers are needed – please check for sign-up sheets in the Altar Server Room.

O God, Eternal Shepherd, Who guide Your flock with unfailing care,

in Your fatherly love, grant your Church of Memphis in Tennessee

a shepherd who will walk in Your ways and whose watchful care

will bring us Your blessing.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You

in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Room in the Inn Continues Through March – Sign up Now!

 

St. Francis Room in the Inn Begins November 1st

This November through March, 2019, St. Francis will join with other churches in the Memphis area to serve those experiencing homelessness and invite them to be our guests at our Room in the Inn, every Thursday night at the Ozanam Center (St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen), located at 1306 Monroe.

Room in the Inn offers food and shelter to those in need of our aid. You can assist in this endeavor by considering any of the following opportunities below to serve.  There is a job for everyone!

You can serve by:

  • Driving the bus and picking up our guests
  • Greeting our guests
  • Making beds
  • Organizing the clothes closet
  • Arranging hygiene items
  • Preparing the showers
  • Setting tables
  • Cooking delicious,nutritious food
  • Baking scrumptious desserts
  • Decorating tables or Making lunches
  • Doing laundry
  • Serving as an overnight shepherd and spend the night with our guests
  • Making the guests feel welcomed and loved
  • Sending off full, clean, and well-rested guests in the morning with a smile
  • Cleaning up the center to get ready for the next group

If you are unable to give your time, you may also help by donating much-needed supplies or by making a monetary donation.
