Becoming Catholic – Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults Continues Each Wednesday

Becoming Catholic-small

Do you want to know more about the Catholic faith? Do you have family members, friends, or co-workers who have expressed interest in the Catholic Church? Are you married to a Catholic and want your entire family to worship together? Were you baptized in the Catholic Church but never received First Reconciliation, First Communion, or Confirmation? The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program is for all these situations. At St. Francis, the formal sessions of RCIA run from early September through Easter.  Our 2016-2017 sessions began on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, and will continue each Wednesday evening at 7:00pm in Room 108 of the Parish Life Center (the building that includes the Church Offices).  After taking a break for Christmas, our sessions resume on Wednesday, January 4, 2017.

Although no pre-registration is required to attend these RCIA sessions, if you are interested in participating this year, we would like to obtain some information from you in advance which will help us adjust the program to better meet your needs.   Please contact Deacon Mic Hovanec (click for his email address), call the church office at (901) 756-1213 or visit the “Becoming Catholic” page on the menu above and submit the information requested on the form included on the page.
