Bishop David Talley will be installed as the bishop of the Diocese of Memphis on  April 2nd at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Please be aware that, due to space constraints, attendance at this event will be by invitation only. The general public will not be admitted, simply because of the limited seating available at the Cathedral. You are invited to keep the new bishop, our diocese, and our church in your prayers, especially during this time of transition.

2019 Lenten Suppers

Get together with your friends on Fridays in Lent and join us for our yummy Lenten Suppers from 5-6:45pm in the PLC Gym! Adults $10, Children 12 and Under $5, Kids Under 3 FREE, Maximum $25 per family!

O God, Eternal Shepherd, Who guide Your flock with unfailing care,

in Your fatherly love, grant your Church of Memphis in Tennessee

a shepherd who will walk in Your ways and whose watchful care

will bring us Your blessing.

Anointing of the Sick

In honor of the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, the sacrament of Anointing of the Sick will be offered for those who are in need after every Mass on the weekend of February 9 & 10.

St. Francis of Assisi Parish Invites
You to Help Fight Hunger!

This is a great opportunity for your entire family, for Confirmation students and their sponsors, for teens needing service hours, and for everyone in the parish!! We need YOUR help!

Join us in the PLC gym on Monday, January 21st (MLK Holiday, from 1:00 pm* – 3:00 pm for a Helping Hands meal packaging event presented by Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and Stop Hunger Now!

*Please arrive by 12:30 pm for registration.

This year our goal is once again to pack 20,000 bags to help feed vulnerable children, women and men in the West African country of Burkina Faso and to help them develop skills to become economically independent.

This is for everyone, ages 3 – 99. Space is Limited!

Ministry Fair ~ January 12 & 13, After all Masses in the PLC!

Our Ministry Fair will be a celebration of the work of the Church, recognizing the importance of all volunteer efforts. This event is a wonderful way for parishioners to meet and gather information about the various ministries, organizations, and educational opportunities that are available within our parish community! It also gives parishioners an opportunity to talk with those already involved with parish ministries and to ask questions as to what each group entails.
