About Our Campus

The campus of St. Francis of Assisi parish faces Germantown Parkway on either side of Chimneyrock Boulevard.

SFA Church

The Church sits on the southeast corner of Germantown Parkway and Chimneyrock Boulevard and consists of our main worship space, our chapel where our weekday Masses are celebrated, our parish library, our beautiful central courtyard, and our most visible exterior image – our distinctive bell tower which is modeled after the bell tower of the Basilica of St. Francis in Assisi, Italy.

Connected to the main church building is our Parish Life Center.  Our PLC houses the Church Offices, our nursery, our Youth Ministry center, as well as numerous other meeting rooms, and our central gymnasium and auditorium.  Many of our parish activities take place in our PLC.  The Church Offices can be accessed through the northwest door of the building.

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School sits on the northeast corner of Germantown Parkway and Chimneyrock Boulevard.  During school hours, the campus is exclusively accessed through the main entrance facing Germantown Parkway on the southwest corner of the building.  The school campus houses the Early Childhood Center (3 year old Pre-Kindergarten through Kindergarten – full time and 2, 3, and 4 year old part-time pre-school) in St. Joseph Hall; Grades 1-3 in St. Edward Hall; and Grades 4-5 in Maria Hall.  Maria Hall is also home to the school chapel.  The Middle School is housed in Saint John Neumann Hall, which is connected to the other buildings by an open-air walkway, and which also houses the St. Peter Athletic Center – the main school gymnasium.  The school buildings open to a courtyard and playground which are completely safe from traffic.
